More baby news!

Yesterday, Pat and I had our 20 week ultrasound and we found out we are having a BOY!!!!!  It was so much fun to see that little guy moving around and watch the heart beating!  We were so excited!  Right after we had our appointment we went to register so we could pick all the blue items and prepare for a baby shower we will have with family in Wisconsin.

I have to tell you, I don’t know if I have ever seen my husband smile bigger as he looked at this baby on that ultrasound!  Here are some pictures…

Here he is with his little adorable profile…

He was playing with his feet and the ultrasound technician got a picture of his arm down by his feet.
This was the first picture we saw of the ultrasound and we knew right away that it was a boy.  The ultrasound technician made a comment that he was not shy!
I little blessing verse for my son…Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart…Jeremiah 1:5a

We are so excited for his arrival and feel he is an amazing gift from the Lord.  We prayed for this child for nearly two years.  He has been our little miracle and we feel so blessed!

We went for chinese after we registered and I am not a superstitious girl, but I do think that the Lord can speak through whatever he wants including fortune cookies.  Pat and I were so excited to have learned that we were having a boy and even more important a healthy baby boy.  We both ate our fortune cookies and smiled giving each other the messages.  Then we noticed we shared the same message!

We are excited for the arrival of our baby boy!

Katie Chance - Congratulations Julie and Pat! I am so excited for you. I am 38 weeks and it has been an amazing experience knowing that our Heavenly Father is intimately creating my baby inside me. We don’t know what we are having and are super excited for our suprise. I pray the best health on you and the baby. May you and Pat enjoy every moment. His smile gets bigger as he is able to see your belly grow and watch his (son) move, kick and punch inside you. Your smile grows during the times he talks to your belly telling the baby how loved (he) is before you have even met. :)

God Bless,
Katie
