I just bought my ticket home to Wisconsin to be with my family this Christmas! I am excited to be with family cuddling up in front of the fireplace, drinking coffee, laughing with my beloved sisters, playing with my adorable nephews and niece–it is by far my favorite time of the year!
The Van Ek family has a new home this Christmas. Todd is our new administrative pastor at Emmanuel Reformed Church. His family recently moved from Iowa to California–big move. We have already been so blessed by Todd and his family in just a few months! Todd has a heart and gifting for church plants which is Emmanuel’s calling and mission. My husband has been so blessed by his leadership, knowledge, and wisdom. Together Pat and I have felt like someone has come along-side us in this daunting journey of church planting and has offered support. Not only has Todd been a huge blessing, but his family is such an encouragement.
The Van Eks wanted a location that would show the city behind them and share with all those they love their new mission. We choose Signal Hill for our session–which has a beautiful view of the city. Here are some of my favorites from our session. Van Ek family, thank you for answering the Lord’s calling on your life. For sacrificing the comforts of home and leaving to purse His plan.
