What a beautiful wedding day! Gina & Todd picked the most beautiful setting for their special day. They were married at the Reef in Downtown Long Beach. Gina had carefully planned all the details and the day was stunning! Gina & Todd are a couple that you can’t help but love. Their wedding day was filled with joy and lots of people that love them. I feel like I know them well after their special day. Above are some of my favorite pictures from the day. Being pregnant makes me think about babies nearly everyday! I wonder what our little boy will look like and how we will enjoy his little personality. Newborn babies are one of my all time favorite subjects to shoot. It is such a miracelous time and I love to capture these special intimate moments! I also want to use this baby moments to remind all my wonderful clients that I will be on maternity leave this year between the months of November-January. So, if you want to have pictures taken make sure to schedule your session before October and if you would like Christmas Cards even earlier. Seniors will be able to shoot in the Summer, Early Fall and Spring. Just keep these dates in mind as you think about your pictures.
As I have been thinking about babies…here is a little video I made of my adorable nephew.
I also wanted to remind you of our Bellies to Baby special! Just keep those dates in mind for my maternity leave. I won’t be able to capture your newborn between the months of November-January.

David loves to surf and for his pictures Huntington Beach was the perfect location. Summer can be a little tricky at the very popular Huntington Beach. Lots of tourists love to spend time on the beach and it heats up quickly every day. Even as we shot pictures the beach there was a bustle of equipment setting up for a surf competition, but not too busy for us to snap some great pictures. Here is David with his brand new surf board. David is finished with his Senior year and took advantage of the summer to take some pictures to remember his Senior year. I think we got some great images for him. Here are some of my favorites…

When I go home to Wisconsin, I often have the privilege of taking family pictures of the Sohre family. This past year they have added an adorable addition to the family. It was great getting a chance to spend time with the Sohre family and we had a beautiful afternoon for the pictures. And even though we struggled making those smiles, I think we captured some beautiful moments. Remember when you schedule a family session there is lots of time to capture the personality of each of your children. Below is the new addition baby Kendall. I think she is adorable! She was awake and ready at the beginning of the session but not for long! Here are a couple of this sweet baby girl.
